CoolWash Project: A laundry powered by renewable energies

Abstract: The proposal of this work is a laundry powered by renewable energies that it is located in Gijon – Asturias- Spain. The different loads you can find in the laundry have been analyzed, as well as the power blocks needed in the installation. In particular, the work in this paper will focus on the MPPT of the PV solar converter and a proposal for a driver and a control strategy for the BLDC motor used for the available washing machines.
