Abstract: In recent years we have seen how wars, natural disasters or the economic crisis have left thousands of people homeless. To fulfill those basic needs, semi-permanent settlements have been designed. The Ecoshelter can be seen as an industrial container slightly wider, which can be easily taken from one place to another, ensuring its availability in very short periods of time.

As we all know, the climatic problem is already a reality that makes it essential to take immediate measures. Accordingly, the Ecoshelter uses 100% solar renewable energy.

In this project, it is shown the system designed for extracting energy from de solar panels to feed the DC Bus, for charging and discharging the batteries and for a LED lightning system with dimming capability, to vary light intensity.
