Abstract: In the last years the investment and implementation in clear energy, like solar energy, is increasing. This is because the needed to reduce the emitted pollution to the atmosphere and because of the efficiency improvement in this type of energy. In the design of solar installations it is very important to use a proficient control system to optimize their operation. In this project a PV solar MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) module is designed using a Flyback converter. This converter allows to set up the input voltage starting from a 12 V battery sitting in the secondary circuit. In this way you can change the operation point of photovoltaic panel with a microprocessor control of the duty. Two different control strategies are implemented to track the MPPT and are simulated with PSIM program. Finally, is searched a real application in which use the designed installation and then the power that it could generate is approaching.
