Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the technical and economic feasibility of implementing a sustainable gym, where all the energy generated is fed into the grid.

In a first phase of the work the possibility of incorporating electric bicycles that are based on Permanent Magnet Generators (PMG) in order to power generation from the gym users has been analyzed.

So  all the energy generated will be injected to a internal DC bus for other applications (i.e. LED lighting in the gym) or to be injected to the Grid Power Line.

An electronic inverter who is working in current mode will inject excedent of the power generated to the Grid Power Line.
