Abstract: Concerns about the current global situation and the exhaustion of most conventional resources have pushed science to get interested in the investigation of new, clean, economically viable and inexhaustible alternatives, as it is the case of solar energy. This article explores a technological solution capable of fueling a single-family house, getting as a result clean energy and an economic saving. Our goal is to use solar energy through photovoltaic tiles and transform it into electricity that will be stored in batteries for later use. This paper provides a brief description of the different power modules involved in the process and a detailed explanation of the components that have been selected to carry it out.
