Social Green Zone

Abstract: Nowadays, the difference between a successful company and the best one depends on both their employees and external image. The best way for achieve this goal could be improving their working relations creating a social room where they can talk and spend their free time and simultaneously, provide an external image of company compromised with green energy and environmental care. The Social Green Zone proposed in this work look for achieve both goals. In this document we will try to explain the design of the proposed room’s installation.  Our idea is to supply this zone with renewable energy, carrying out the study of the solar panels and batteries, which will be employing to store the energy excess. The design will be using a complete power converter to extract energy from the sun (MPPT operation) and a DAB (Dual-Active Bridge) converter with (LPDC) Linear Phase Droop Control to inject or extract energy over an internal DC bus, respectively. Finally, a Grid Tie Inverter allows the interface with the AC grid to inject surplus energy or obtain energy, depend on the necessity.
