Educational Street Charge Point with Smart Lighting based on LED’s, powered by a PV Solar Module

Abstract: This Project’s proposes the use of a Solar Module tracking the Maximum Power Point to supply a Street Charge point located in the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Gijón (EPI-GIJON). The main goal is the use of a renewable source to fulfill the energy needs of the system and offer the students a relaxing outdoor place with the option of charging their electronic devices. The lightning needs are also taken into account with a smart lightning based on LED’s.
