Abstract: Preliminary development of a single-phase power inverter for energy injection to a 1:10 scaled Spanish AC mains (23 VRMS / 50Hz) from a DC bus (48V). Topology: Full-Bridge. The target of this work is to stabilize the DC bus voltage at 48V, allowing the injection or extraction of energy from the mains in a paralelizable way. As an additional protection, a detection system failure (Anti-islanding protection) based on phase sliding measurement will be implemented, so when the mains fails, the inverter automatically will cut its connection to the grid and stop working. The inverter control will consist on SPWM modulation under two different control strategies: the Droop-Control and closed loop control through a PI compensator. A nominal power of 100VA is set, this value will be the starting point for the dimensioning of the main circuit components. Only the main elements of the power circuit will be chosen, obviating those auxiliary circuits required for control (drivers, measurement and signal conditioning, etc.). Additionally, an output power filter for the inverter, whose main task will be the attenuation of high frequency harmonics and ultimately minimizing the electrical noise introduced into the mains will be dimensioned. The ultimate goal of this work is the simulation of the PSIM [2] software system, through which it is intended to optimize and verify their actual operation.
